專門報道 Bittorrent 相關新聞的資訊網站 Torrentfreak最近選出 2008年全球 10大 BT網站的人氣排行榜，並以互聯網研究機構 Compete 和 Alexa 的資料作為參考。今年排行榜比去年的排位有不少變動，排名第一的 Pirate Bay在 Alexa以 117票獲冠(去年僅為第三)，而 Mininova 則微升一級進佔第二位，而緊隨其後的則是 IsoHunt網站。而國內最受歡迎的 BT 網站 BT @ China則十大不入，在 Alexa Ranking 僅位列 1668。
