去年 Google 發表 Android 4.4 KitKat 系統和 Nexus 5 的時候，同時推出了 Google Now Launcher，讓 Nexus 和 Google Play Edition 系列裝置使用。用戶只要以口令「OK Google」就可以進行資料搜尋，或者操控手機平板完成任務。
日前，Google 開放 Google Now Launcher 予 Android 4.1 或以上系統版本的裝置，透過 Google Play 下載。要使用 Google Now Launcher，Google 搜尋 App 亦要同時更新至最新版本。除了 OK Google 口令，用戶還可以向右滑動螢幕，顯示 Google 資訊卡片。
