在不少 Android 手機預載的 Google Assistant 智能助理功能，稍後將會獲得人工智能的功能提升，在今年 10 月 Pixel 8 系列發佈會期間，Google 公佈 Assistant with Bard 項目，顧名思義就是將生成式人工智能聊天機械人 Bard 結合到 Assistant。
Assistant with Bard 已經向少數 Pixel 8 系列手機用戶開放試用，Google 在發佈時亦透露會在數個月內，將 Assistant with Bard 首先向美國的用戶推出，然後再陸續向其他市場提供。日前網民 AssembleDebug 在社交平台 X 透露，用戶未來可以選擇在使用 Google Assistant 時，是否同時啟用 Bard 人工智能。
爆料的 AssembleDebug 表示當 Assistant with Bard 推出後，用戶可以選擇傳統的 Google Assistant，屆時應該會稱為 Classic Assistant，這樣用戶就可以選擇減少讓人工智能介入其生活，這名爆料者亦提到並非所有傳統模式的設定選項，都可以在 Assistant with Bard 找到。現時 Google Bard 已經支援繁體中文，不過香港是少數未能使用 Bard 的地方，所以暫時未知 Assistant with Bard 正式推出後，香港 Android 裝置用戶能否使用。
