三防電腦產品向來都是工業界別的專用產品，全因它能夠集耐用、防水、防塵、防震等功能於一身，亦不怕刮花撞壞。GPS應用解決方案公司 Trimble 剛剛宣佈推出新一代的三防 UMPC YUMA，不讓 Panasonic ToughBook U1 專美。
專攻極端環境使用的三防工業用 UMPC的 Trimble Yuma 完全符合美國軍方標準 MIL-STD-810F 和 IP67 工業級別標準,前者通過防止衝擊，震動，極端的溫度測試、而後者則是灰塵及防水標準,絕對適合在極端工作環境下使用。
Trimble Yuma 配備Intel Atom N270 1.6GHz 處理器，32GB SSD，而且採用的 7 吋WSVGA 輕觸式螢幕可關閉背光燈，可供戶外強光環境下使用。而且更加入了WiFi ，藍牙，GPS 全球定位系統，兩個數位鏡頭，SDIO 讀卡器及ExpressCard插槽等，擴充功能亦算相當豐富。暫時廠方未有公佈此機售價，暫定將會在今年 4 月正式推出。
