Google Play Store 內藏有不少惡意程式，並偽裝成正常 Apps 供用家下載安裝相信已不是新聞了，近日有消息指出 Google 針對上述問題，將在新版 Play Store 加入內容掃描和警示功能，減少用家中毒出事的機會，除此以外也可能加入 Wish List 功能，讓用家將希望購買的 Apps 或其他內容加入清單內，方便日後選購。
有網站指出早前流出的 Google Play Store APK (版本為 3.9.16) 發現了「App Check」功能，另包含「Installing this app may harm your device」、「Installation has been blocked」等警告語字串，估計新版 Google Play Store 將整合惡意軟件掃描阻擋功能，另外亦發現當中含有警告字句或盾牌圖示。
另外 Google Play Store 可能跟 Amazon 和 iTunes Store 一樣，將提供類似 Wish List 功能，日後用家可將有興趣的 Apps 或其他內容加入清單內留待日後購買。
