罩耳式耳機 AirPods Max 於 12 月 15 日發售，AirPods Max 除了可以以無線的形式連接電子裝置，亦能夠以有線的形式連結，但有網民發現，只有官方售賣的音訊連接線才能順利令 AirPods Max 和其他裝置連接，其他市售的音訊連接線不適用於 AirPods Max。
根據官方網站，適用於 AirPods Max 的 Lightning 至 3.5 毫米音訊連接線（1.2米）售價為 HK$279 港幣，價格可能與其他品牌的連接線相比較貴，有用戶在 Twitter 指出，在網購平台 Amazon 購買的 Lightning 至 3.5 毫米音訊連接線，不適用於 AirPods Max，使用者需要購買有 DAC 晶片的原廠音訊連接線，才可以令 AirPods Max 連接到其他電子裝置。
