遊戲開發商 Epic Games 因 App Store 政策在全球與 Apple 出現法律爭端。早前 Epic Games 要求 Apple 重新恢復其 Fortnite 開發者帳號，打算在韓國重新推出使用 iOS 作業系統的 Fortnite。據韓國新法，用戶可選擇使用 Epic 或 Apple 方式來支付。
去年8月，遊戲《要塞英雄》（Fortnite）在 IOS App Store 被下架，因 Epic Games 為 V-Bucks （遊戲代幣）啟用了直接付費選項，避開了蘋果的 IAP （App 內購買）系統和 30%的提成。今年8月底，韓國國會通過電信商業法，禁止包括 Apple 在內的應用程式商店平台強迫軟體開發者必須使用平台所規定的支付系統。
