一直以來，Instagram都只在手機App上使用，其網頁功能欠奉，但一位網頁設計師發現Instagram正在測試網頁版本，相信Instagram將會在不久將來，推出網頁版本。
網頁設計師Cole Reinke偶然發現Instagram正在測試「View Profile」頁面，通常透過瀏覽器，在instagram.com只會見到「Edit Profile」介面和「Log Out」。Reinke表示，這個「View Profile」選項只出現短短數小時。
雖然Instagram高層堅持將服務局限於手機，但似乎Facebook的1億美元巨額收購，有可能會令Instagram步向網絡世界。
