Chromecast with Google TV 將在近日的更新中，引入對 Apple TV app 和 Apple TV+ 媒體服務的支援，屆時用戶可以利用 Google 硬件去觀看 Apple 的原創劇，而其他的 Google TV 裝置也會陸續支援 Apple TV+ 的服務。
Chromecast with Google TV 為訂閱 Apple TV + 的用戶提供瀏覽 Apple 原創內容、電影和紀錄片的平台，如最近獲得兩個金球獎提名的 Ted Lasso 系列，For All Mankind 第二季，The Morning Show 以及電影 Greyhound 和 Palmer。用戶可以在 Apple TV app 中瀏覽已購買的電影和電視節目庫，以及精選推薦和 Apple TV 頻道。而家庭共享方面，最多可有六個家庭成員共享 Apple TV +和 Apple TV 頻道的服務。
用戶還可以使用 Google Assistant 打開 Apple TV app 或播放 Apple 原創內容，並可以將 Apple TV+ 內容添加到 Google Watchlist 列表中，使用者還可以透過 Google Assistant 來讓語音助手打開電視和播放影片。目前該功能僅對美國地區用戶開放。
