Apple 不時推出音響產品，不過總是此起彼落，HomePod 產品線也可說是耐人尋味。最近有消息透露，Apple 正在準備 HomePod 新產品，最快在年底就會面世。
據郭明錤在 Twitter 上透露，Apple 將會在今年第四季到明年第一季推出新版本的 HomePod，硬體而言跟舊產品變化不大，不過就未有透露這會是已經停產的初代 HomePod 還是現在仍然有售的 HomePod mini。
Apple would release a new version of HomePod in 4Q22-1Q23, and there may not be much innovation in hardware design. Smart speakers are undoubtedly one of the essential elements of the home ecosystem, but I think Apple is still figuring out how to succeed in this market.

他表示，對於 Apple 來說 HomePod 系列智能喇叭是智能家居產品的一個重要元素，但是 Apple 仍然在摸索階段。如果消息屬實，則新產品可能會是只改用更新晶片的加強版而非之前傳聞與 Apple TV 合併的裝置。
