目前已有多間廠商表明不會再為 32 位元 Android 設備提供支援，而《Pokemon Go》亦開始停止 32 位元 Android 的支援，Samsung Galaxy S5、Xpreia Z2、Nexus 6 等手機將會不能再升級遊戲。
在停止開發 32 位元 Android 版本後，現有 64 位元 Android 設備與 iOS 版本將不受影響，但以下機種的用戶，將會在 8 月初推出的更新後，不能再從其設備登入其《Pokemon Go》帳戶，屆時用戶要更換至較新的 Android 手機。受影響的大多為 2015 年以前出品的 Android 設備，而這些設備內置的 RAM 數量大多為少於 4GB。
不再支援的 32 位元 Android 手機包括：
HTC One(M8)
OnePlus One
Samsung Galaxy S4, S5
Samsung Galaxy Note 3
Samsung Galaxy J2, J3
Sony Xpreia Z2, Z3
Motorola Moto G (1st Generation)
Nexus 6
ZTE Overtune 3
2015年之前發售的大部份其他Android設備
