太空人上太空需要面對各種對身體的影響,宇宙中的高能質子與帶電粒子已證實對人類能造成健康與認知問題。而美國 NASA 最近就發表了研究報告,指女性大腦可能對太空輻射的影響完全免疫。
NASA 有份資助的加州大學三藩市分校的布魯克海文國家實驗室,研究模擬宇宙射線對老鼠大腦的影響,實驗發現雌性老鼠對研究員模擬出來的太空輻射造成的認知損傷具有免疫力。有關研究報告在《Brain, Behavior, and Immunity》期刊內刊登。
